Another Inconsistency found in a Good Times Episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I know everyone remembers the episode Black Jesus, that's the episode when J.J paints Black Jesus and the family hangs it on the wall. The tag scene in this episode shows J.J hanging Black Jesus back on the wall. But in the next episode, you don't see the pcture on the wall, actuallly we never seen the picture again. Which means this is another inconsistency.

James gave JJ permission to take it to his art contest so that he could win a prize. He had 2 paintings, and the one he orginally took to the contest did not win, it was a picture of a guy names "sweet" willie coontz, or some name like that, playing a game of pool, and some other people had similar paintings like his, so he took Black Jesus down to the contest, but we never saw the outcome... I have this episode, so look at it again, and you will see this

In my post, I stated that in the TAG scene i saw the outcome of this episode. Here it is.

J.J comes bck from the contest with Black Jesus and said he didn't win with that painting either

So J.J goes to hang the picture back on the wall and James says
"Put him back in the closet junior because he hasn't brought you no luck I think Black jesus winning streak is over"

J.J: ok dad

Florida: Put him back on the wall J.J

James:You really mean that baby?

Florida:Well we should have both pictures of Jesus on the wall because this family can use all the help u can get.

J.J

YNOMITE!!!-and he goes to put the picture back on the wall.
