Last night, my mom was watching CBS and an ad for "Lucy" came on. She looks at me and asked, "Who is that woman?" meaning Rachel York. I tell her and she's like, "Who?"
Yeah, I dunno. And holy coffee beans, that wig. I didn't realize Lucy spent time in the circus.

Lucy always admitted that her shade of hair color was ridiculous, it looked fine on TV in black and white, it photographed well, but not in person, Lucy also used the same term as you when she got older and she toned it down a little, she said she took some of the CIRCUS out of it! It was orange, not even red!

I saw the commerical for "Lucy" too, and thought that the color of the wig was outrageous. Then I watched some of "A Home Movie" today, and saw the color clips of Lucy at the ranch in the 40s and thought to myself, 'the producers of "Lucy" got it right after all. Her hair really was that color!!!'
