My mom wondered this halfway through the show tonight.Does anyone think that there's something going on between the two of them?

hahahaa yah i think so! im jealous of him! dangit were they like making out at the end of the group song?!?! they were standing there gazing into each other's eyes while everyone else was looking out in the audience. he's a lucky man. lucky man.

No...Clay is just a sexist bigot who enjoys looking down woman's necklines, and up woman's panties. He's also in love with Kim Locke and and Kim Caldwell. He has yet to get it on with Treynce...but it'll happen...

I'm not really into the show as much as last years, so I couldn't care less who is doing what off the show. More power to them.

Well they were coupled together again during the group song but I guess Andrew (Callmetootie) is kind of right.He does kind of flirt with all the girls as seen in the Kim C. tape.

i dont think he's gay at all. if he was gay, he probably wouldnt want to practically be grinding w/ carmen during a group song.

BTW Here's what the reviwer of "American Idol" at TV Tome has to say about this whole Carmen/Clay thing:

Speaking of Clay, I guess those rumors about him and Carmen had some truth to them. Everybody knows in this post-Clinton era that even a flat out denial of an affair does not kill rumors—or the truth, in Clinton's case. So Carmen's "I'll let America decide" on the are they/aren't they dating questions basically confirms their couple-hood. Well, how sweet. (Cough, cough…CRADLE ROBBING…cough cough…)

He (I assume it's a he because whoever it is seems to have an obsession with Kimberly Caldwell) also says "The whole thing with Clay listening to her have that 'organic experience' was creepy.She's barely legal".
