You can take ONE of these Led Zeppelin albums with you.
Which do you pick? And why(if you care to elaborate)? |

What???? NO "PHYSICAL GRAFITTI"?????
![]() My reasons: 1. It's a double-album. 2. It's the total peak of their playing powers, mature and rocking in every way. 3. "Custard Pie" 4. "The Rover" 5. "KASHMIR" 6. "In the Light" 7. "Braun-y-Raur" 8. "Houses of the Holy" 9. "Trampled Underfoot" 10. "Down By the Seaside" 11. "Ten Years Gone" 12. "Night Flight" 13. "The Wanton Song" |

I'm gonna have to go with "IV" (actually didn't have a title, in spite of the symbols and everything on it). "I" was big and huge and raw, "II" was even more big and huge and raw and had a smattering of cool acoustic thingies and all, "III" was half really cool acoustic tracks, but "IV" was where it really all came together. It was finally cooked to perfection. "Black Dog", "Misty Mountain Hop", and of course, "Stairway to Heaven." After hearing it for decades to the point of boredom, I sat down with it recently and listened to it--and the song just sent shivers up and down my spine. You CANNOT deny the power of that song.
