"Jim" capitalized on the available audience in the time period, placing second among Men 18-34 (2.7/8), Teens 12-17 (3.1/10) and Kids 2-11 (1.9/8). * Growing 14% from its week-ago premiere in the time period (2.8/8), "According to Jim" generated ABC's highest Adult 18-34 rating (3.2/9) in 2 months in the half-hour with regular programming - since 2/4/02. "Jim" matched the Net's second-highest Men 18-34 delivery (2.7/8) in the time slot this season. "Lost at Home" (9:30-10:00 p.m.) "Lost at Home" produced even stronger lead-in retention on its second telecast than on its debut. "Lost at Home" held on to 97% of its Adult 18-49 lead-in (3.5/8 vs. 3.6/9) and built on "Jim's" lead among Adults 18-34 (3.3/9 vs. 3.2/9), Women 18-49 (4.3/10 vs. 4.2/10) and Women 18-34 (3.9/10 vs. 3.7/10). Capitalizing on the available audience in the half-hour, "Lost at Home" was up over its week-earlier debut by 32% among Adults 18-34 (3.3/9 vs. 2.5/7) and by 17% among Teens 12-17 (2.8/9 vs. 2.4/9), taking first place in the half-hour in the latter demographic. * "Lost at Home" pulled in ABC's strongest Adult 18-34 rating in 4 months with regular programming in the time period (since 12/10/02), and notched its highest Men 18-34 rating in the half-hour this season. The comedy improved the time period by 18% among Adults 18-34 (3.3/9 vs. 2.8/8) and by 35% among Men 18-34 (2.7/8 vs. 2.0/6) over the Net's average with regular programming in the half-hour this season. "NYPD Blue" (10:00-11:00 p.m.) "NYPD Blue" returned to its time period after 5 weeks off, building on its lead-in by almost 3 million viewers (10.9 million vs. 8.0 million) and by 26% among Adults 18-49 (4.4/11 vs. 3.5/8). "Blue" earned second in the hour to "Cher's Farwell Concert" among viewers and young adults and delivered the No. 1 position in the time period among Men 18-34 (3.0/10 - tie). * Despite the unusually strong competition from the NBC concert special, "NYPD Blue" was up from its most recent airing among Adults 18-49 (4.4/11 vs. 4.3/11 on 2/25/03) and garnered its highest Adult 18-34 rating (3.4/10) in nearly 5 months - since 11/19/02. This show is here to stay, look at how much growth the show has in just a weeks time. ABC just needs to get back all the viewers it lost and all its shows will go up. I hope they start promoting this show heavily, I beleive it is one of there highest rated shows.

AJ,
You seem to know a lot about tv...So, maybe you can answer my question...Why is Lost on so late? Shouldn't kids be able to watch it too???

Lost At Home was #4 in it's timeslot though...not much better than Less Than Perfect. That probably means that something has to be eliminated before the fall in the schedule..

I think Cher did reallllly well in the ratings and that's why Lost At Home came in 4th. (Plus, it should be on earlier!!). But it is better than Life With Bonnie, Less Then Perfect, etc. Hopefully ABC will be smart about this show. They need it!!!

I dont know why it wanst given an earlier slot. They probably gave it 9:30 thinking it would have less competition, CBS has The Guardian (Not Popular), NBC's AUSA (NOT POPULAR), Fox's 24 (Semi- Popular) and UPN and WB arent really competition. And ABC will probably start to rebuild Friday Nights, they already started with 8SR repeats and Regular Joe. And Chear really killed last night, she almost beat American Idol.

If anything goes it will be "Life With Bonnie" it came very close to being canned this year but they some how managed to get a pickup for next year. If they dont improve next year they will get canned. As for right now 8 Simple Rules..., Life With Bonnie, Less Than Perfect, According to Jim, My Wife and Kids, and George Lopez arent going anywhere. They are all renewed for next year. Granted ABC could pull the plug when they want, they wont. I could see Lost at Home and Regular Joe getting pickups for next season too. That will help ABC either fill out Wednsday nights to get rid of Reality Shows or rebuild there Friday Nights.

they don't want it to go against American Idol. That's why they have jim repeats at 8:30.
I love this show. My favorite show that's on. I can't wait till next Tuesday at 9:30 it's just that some people don't like it so they post pessamistic comments because they think they are a tv god or maybe they just complain about everything since one of their shows just got axed. |
