ABC's reality show "All American Girl" will move to Thursdays at 9 p.m. E/P starting Thursday, April 17, replacing the two additional airings of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" "Whose Line..." will still air Thursdays at 8 and 8:30 p.m. E/P.
"All American Girl's" old Wednesdays at 10 p.m. slot will now be "Extreme Makeover" starting Wednesday, April 23. On Wednesday, April 16, "The Bachelor 3" Episode 4 will air for two hours, from 9 to 11 p.m. E/P.

Following the tremendous success of the original one-hour special, “Extreme Makeover,” which aired on ABC on December 11, 2002, the first of seven new one-hour specials will premiere at a special time –10:10-11:00 p.m., ET – following an extended version of “The Bachelor,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23, on the
ABC Television Network.
Please note: This premiere was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 10.
Each of the seven self contained episodes will feature two people, first in their “before” phase, then as they undergo their various procedures and, finally, when the end results are revealed to their families.
Following nationwide open casting calls and over 7000 applicants, the first two lucky individuals – Kine and Tammy – were chosen for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in “Extreme Makeover.”
Kine, a 29-year-old barber from Chicago, had an upper and lower lip reduction, breast lift, liposuction of the abdomen, teeth whitened and straightened and Lasik eye surgery. Tammy, a 40-year-old stay-at-home mother from St. Petersburg, FL, had a face lift, an upper and lower eye lift, rhinoplasty, laser resurfacing of the perioral region and teeth whitened and straightened.
These two women were given a truly Cinderella-like experience, as they were able to change their looks in an effort to transform their lives and destinies and to make their dreams come true. This was all accomplished through the skills of an “Extreme Team,” including a plastic surgeon, an eye surgeon and a
cosmetic dentist, along with a talented team of hair and makeup artists, stylists and personal trainers.
The original one-hour special, “Extreme Makeover,” which featured Stacey, Stephanie and Luke, attracted an average of 13.2 million viewers when it aired on the ABC Television Network on December 11, 2002. The show won its hour among Adults 18-49, beating NBC’s “West Wing” by 14% (5.8/14 vs. 5.1/12).
In addition the show led its hour among Adults 18-34 (4.9/14) and in each of the key Women demos: Women 18-49 (7.4/18), Women 18-34 (6.4/18) and Women 25-54 (7.5/16).
Hosted by Sissy Biggers (“Ready, Set, Cook!”), “Extreme Makeover” is produced by Lighthearted Entertainment. Howard Schultz and Kimber Rickabaugh are executive producers, and Jacqui Pitman is coexecutive producer. “Extreme Makeover” is directed by Paul Miller.
As it heads into its most intense episodes, “All American Girl” moves to THURSDAY NIGHTS (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), beginning APRIL 17. At this point in the competition, pressure builds as the girls show their talents and skills in front of a studio audience. The celebrity coaches – former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, legendary producer Suzanne dePasse and NBA super star John Salley – show no mercy as they drive and inspire the women to the final prize. The home viewing audience votes to determine which girls
advance into the final rounds and, ultimately, who will win the title of “All American Girl.”
“All American Girl” is produced by 19 Entertainment. Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe are executive producers, Marilyn Wilson and Conrad Green serves as co-executive producers, James Breen is supervising producer and Tom Boles is coordinating producer.
“All American Girl: Episode 106” on Thursday, April 17 carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate for “Extreme Makeover: Episode 101” on Wednesday, April 23.
