I was very surprised that Road to Perdition didn't nab an Oscar nomination, and even more surprised that Tom Hanks wasn't nominated.

I feel the exact same way that you do. The movie didn't get the credit it deserved, and as for Tom Hanks, I think that it was one of the best performances he ever gave.

MTV just unveiled their nominees for their movie awards. They awarded several movies that the Academy ignored.

Kieran Culkin received a Breakthrough Performance nomination.
