Well I think that they should have been fair to end the series the right way. I guess they didn't know they were getting cancelled. It really upset me, and I guess another season was in the making.
I guss if there was another season they would have finally brought closure to Alf's hiding all the times from people. I guess there would have been a 2 or 3 part story in the 5th season where the government decides what to do with him, as the Tanners fight to bring him home. I guess once all that is cleared up, then the show would finally end. But not until another 20 episodes later. I guess Lynne, who is now old enough to marry would possibly marry in the last episode, or go away to college, giving Alf a room of his own, since he wouldn't have to sleep in the laundry room anymore. I think that the series finale would be classic flashbacks, as they did in a few episodes during in the series run. I can see Alf on the air from 1990-1991, but I guess then it would end, after closure happened to his character always having to hide all the time. |
