Arrow "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour": Spin-Off OR Continuation?

This has always got me to wonder. Is The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour really a spin-off since some of the characters were from an earlier series (I Love Lucy) or just a mere continuation of hit classic I Love Lucy since all of the main characters are in both shows? Both shows I think I have some definite similarites AND differences.

The differences I think are:
1) One show is in a length of a hour, while the other is not.
2) The later series had guest stars on it all the time, while the earlier series did not.
3) The setting in both shows are different. The majority of the earlier series was set in New York City, while the later series was set in the Country.
4) Lucy's hairstyle was different in the later series as opposed to how she had in the early series.

I'd say it is a continuation series. It has all the main cast members and had the same kind of chemistry as the previous series ILL.

Without a doubt, a continuation series.

It's a continuation, and a great one at that.

It's a continuation, because all of the main characters from "I Love Lucy" were still around. If the show only featured Lucy & Rickey, or just Fred & Ethel, it would have been a spin-off.

It's a continuation, because Lucy and Desi wanted to continue the series after 'I Love Lucy', with the same format but instead of hour long specials on CBS. Also, the show show began immediately after 'I Love Lucy' ended.

Definitely a continuation. It was almost the same as I Love Lucy, except there were more guest stars and it was an hour long.
