I'm back, sort of.
On Thursday, the 11th junior and the senior boys went on a camp-out at the beach. I came back yesterday. I must tell you, the beach is wonderful. I went body-boarding four times and the waves were excellent yesterday. You would probably think that I, having lived in San Diego for 17+ years would get to go to the beach a lot of the time, but you're wrong. I have only been to the beach 4 times. During the camp-out I made the most out of my opportunity to get into the water. That wasn't the only thing I did. I also played craps (using chips, not real money) and chatted with all the other guys. It was interesting. During the night, there was this drunk guy who walked by our campgrounds making duck noises. I'm not kidding. I woke up to these noises but I couldn't see him because I was in a tent. Several people saw him (two were sleeping outside in the back of a truck and another was sleeping inside the truck). The person in the truck locked himself in. Before we all went to bed some of the kids were making noise, one of the rangers came by and threatened to kick us all out if we didn't stop. One kid yelled out right as he was about to leave, but he didn't stop and everything was alright. Overall, it was a fun trip and I will never forget it.
