Answer me this: Did these DVD's come from America? If so, is your DVD player equipped to play Region 1 DVD's? If you continue to have problems with these discs tell me the make and model number of your DVD player and I'll try'n find a multi-region hack for you. |

When you play an RCE protected disc, the disc effectively "asks" the DVD player if it has been modified to play all regions. If it has then the disc will not play. The only way to get around this is to switch your DVD player to region 1 (as opposed to region 0). This is all well and good if you are using a handset hack to play discs from other regions (ie. typeing in a code on the remote before playing the disc). If, on the other hand, your player has been 'chipped' in order to allow it to play discs from other regions then you're pretty much screwed when it comes to RCE. |

You could always e-mail the guy, tell him what the problem is, and see if he'll give you your money back. Usually when something like this happens people assume the worst, and think they've been purposely ripped off. I had the same thing happen to me where I bought a defective DVD. I told the guy about the problem, and he immediately offered either a full refund, or that I'd keep the DVD, and get half my money back. I went for the full refund. Anyway if you haven't done so already, email this guy. He may give you a full refund.

Are they factory manufactured store-bought DVDs or DVD-R's that the seller burned himself? Because I have a disc recorder and sometimes the DVDs I make don't play on some DVD players. If I'm way off base then ignore my post lol I just thought I'd throw another possibility out there
