A lot if not all of them were awesome. But I had to pick the last one because it was the end of the show and we didn't know if JR had shot himself or not. It just seems like the best one to me.

Who Shot J.R. most definitely was the best cliffhanger. We didn't know who shot J.R. whether it was Sue Ellen or Cliff or Kristen. This is the best as it was the main storyline for a while and the episode where we knew Who Shot J.R. was the highest rated episode of a series until M*A*S*H's final episode in 1983.

Do you remember a song playing on the radio about that? I have a scant memory of it and I haven't heard it since.

it would have to be "Who Shot J.R.?" That's the one that put the show at the top of the ratings, and put the qestion "Who shot J.R."? on everyones lips that summer (thanks to a carefully planned publicity campaign by CBS).

I remember there were bumper stickers, hats, t-shirts, all with Who Shot J.R. emblazoned across the front. There were even cover storys about the series in Time and Newsweek magazines. I remember passing a store once and seeing a t-shirt that said "I Shot J.R."

Well I just out that J.R. didn't shoot himself in the series finale, he just shot the mirror in his bedroom.

I liked whoshotjr? For what it meant to the genre and tv overall. It was like the first cliffhanger. But I enjoyed swan song and Ewing inferno much more.
