Default What do you like and dislike about 8 Simple Rules??

Yeah I stole this idea from the general discussions board, I hope whoever it was dosen't mind me using it here, so anyways...

What do you like and Dislike about 8 simple rules?

Like

What I love the most is the Cast, John ritter, Kaley Cuoco, Katey Sagal, Martin Spanjers, Amy Davidson, Larry Miller, Billy Aaron brown, Patrick Warburton, Jason Preistley all Kick ass!!!! If John ritter wasn't in it I wouldn't like this show as much as I do now and Plus its just fun to watch. Its one of the best family comedies out there (besides George Lopez)

Dislike

Near the end of every single episode it has those damn morals at the end and It wouldn't be a bad thing once in awhile but every fricken epsiode is like Full House (at least it dosne't have the crappy music) Like even for the Spring break episode, Spring break is suppose to be about having fun and stuff but even in that they had the "Big Talk" in the end.

LIKE: Most everything...except...

DISLIKE: The moralistic attitude. I don't mind a generally moral show...But at least make it realistic, like Malcolm in the Middle

I generally like the show, but as a huge 'Married With...Children' fan I am disappointed to see Katey Sagal play such a distant second supporting role. Unfortunately her character is given boring and predictable lines. But I still like the show. Just my 2c.

The cast is very entertaining. So far my favorite characters are Bridget, Paul, and Rory. Cate is okay. I also like how it isn't so disgustingly wholesome like Full House was. It still has morals and lessons but they aren't as cheesy.

Dislike:

I also dislike Kerry's PMS attitude. Her sarcasm and mood swings get really annoying. She's a good actress though but her character annoys me.

Like: The cast and ESPECIALLY Kerry. Hahahaha she's sooo funny and I LOVE her sarcasm and always teasing Bridget, the "popular girl". Reminds me of me I like all the things that I do as a teenager.

Dislike: Bridget. She's so stupid she's funny, yeah I got that. But her constant "dumb blonde" act is sometimes annoying. Guess I just can't stand her because she reminds me of annoying ditsy girls at my school who are shallow. I don't COMPLETELY dislike her, only sometimes. I also dislike the morals thing. It ends cheesy and life doesn't always have a happy ending.

So as you can tell Kerry is my fave character. Bridget is my second favorite...tied with the dad. Hope I didn't offend you "Bridget-lovers"! Not my intention but I got irked you always diss Kerry...

I like both of the girls.

I dislike the fact that Katy Sagal was once wearing spandex pants and fake gold jewelry on Married...With Children (one of the funniest and raunchy shows EVER) , and now she's helping John Ritter teach a bunch of kids good moral values. I also don't like that they paint the character of Rory to be a complete idiot...like most TV shows do to "little brothers". Not every 14 year-old lacks mental capacity.

But the thing I hate the most is that John Ritter's character (Paul?) is a total butthole. God, I don't know one parent who is that strict with their damn kids. That angers me so much...his stubborness. The fact that he can't let his kids go out and live their lives on their own and not learn everything from daddy. Urrg. (Example: The Halloween episode when he absolutely INSISTED that the whole damn family cram into a 4x5 foot space just because they had done it in the past)

Likes- The moral ascpects to it. The jokes, and the cast. And Kerry's character is so much like me and true to life, its scary.

Dislikes- The shallow popular one, I can't stand her.
