Wink Favorite Tag Scene

What's everyone's favorite end tag scene?

There were a lot of funny ones, but I think the one I like the most is the one in Home Movies where Chrissy is asking Mr. Roper to stand still while he is holding a plunger. Mr. Roper is getting tired of standing there and then asks if Chrissy's almost finished. Chrissy says she is, but she is only drawing the plunger.

Another great one is from Jack in the Flower Shop (I'm pretty sure that's what episode it was). Stanley comes home with flowers for Helen. Aww. But then Helen sees that there is a card in it and Stanley becomes surprised. The card says "To Granny, rest in peace" since Stanley stole the flowers from a cemetery.

"The New Landlord" where Chrissy says something like "dont worry the little bubbles hid everything" to Mr. Furley when he thought Lana saw him in the bathtub

That's a ard question to answer because N@N doesn't show all the tag scenes. I'm still trying to figure out why. Makes no sense to me.

Did you like the tag scene when Chrissy was hugging jack and whilethey were hugging, janet poured ice down the back of his shirt-LOL. And Jack jumped up trying to get all the ice out his shirt.

In the episode "The New Landlord",after Lana tells Mr. Furley off,Mr. Furley says, "She Loves Me", then passes out with his head in the cake. That was funny!!!

Also in the first episode, where Jack wants to shave,Chrissy hands him shaving cream, and tells him we use it to clean our sink.

Another episode I forgot to mention was the one where they find the marijuana in the yard and Helen takes one of the plants to a flower show. When Stanley gets a phone call from Jack and Jack tells him that the plant that Helen has is marijuana. When he finds out,he takes a big lump of clay and demolishes the plant. When one of the judges sees it and says it is not marijuana but wild foliage and Helen would have won it,Helen bops Stanley on the head with her purse and the photographer from the newspaper takes his picture when she bops him on the head.

Default Tag scene descriptions

My favorite is the one from episode #0322 The Bake-Off. Reruns shown on syndication end the show with Dean Travers being hit by five pies while Jack was not hit, making the audience think that Jack actually got away. But in the tag scene (if it's shown), Jack gets hit by two pies thrown by the Ropers after trying to break up an argument between them.

I really detest all those cut scenes on Nick at Nite or on any other past station rerun. I've noticed that on reruns, the show often ends without the actual final tag scene being televised. And sometimes Nick at Nite does televise the tag scene, but at the same time it will delete a prior scene in the episode. For those of you who don't know, below are just seven samples of all the omitted final tag scenes:

Downhill Chaser #0505
Televised last scene: Jack fainting after the girl says she will ski down the difficult hill in the morning.
Omitted tag scene: Mr. Furley explaining to Jack how the fat lady finally caught him.

Double Trouble #0519
Televised last scene: Mr. Furley walking out drunk.
Omitted tag scene: Jack telling the girls that it was Austin who pulled a prank in the bathroom.

Dying To Meet You #0522
Televised last scene: Jack getting trapped in the coffin and sneezing his way out.
Omitted tag scene: Jack requesting to sleep with the girls.

Eyewitness Blues #0605
Televised last scene: Both the detective and the robber knocked out.
Omitted tag scene: The cast watching a TV news broadcast about the incident.

The Money Machine #0804
Televised last scene: Five men trying to explain to Terri what's going on.
Omitted tag scene: Mr. Furley saying how he found more than $1000 in the couch.

The Charming Stranger #0811
Televised last scene: Leslie and then Mr. Furley leaving the apartment after finding out about Pamela.
Omitted tag scene: The trio reading a good-bye letter from Leslie

Jack Takes Off #0818
Televised last scene: Jack walking off with Larry's date.
Omitted tag scene: Mr. Furley showing the trio his drawing of Jack.

My favorite one is when Chrissy calls Janet at like 3 in the morning to tell her about her nightmare about Janet and in fact Janet's not in the nightmare at all and then Janet falls asleep on the table and then rolls over and falls.

Cool That's more like it!

I'm very glad that tonight's episode of The Apartment included the tag scene.

Without the tag scene, it gives the impression that the girls had the last laugh when they didn't see Daphne in the bedroom when in when fact, Jack was telling the truth. But with the tag scene, we see Jack get the last laugh as Dephne returned to the apartment and into Jack's bedroom and then came out as the girls saw her. One thing I don't quite understand is why did Daphne sneak out of the apartment if it appeared that she really liked Jack?

Now, all Nick-at-Nite has to do is keep up this trend of leaving in the tag scenes.
