My mom was telling me earlier about Burt being on this show called Celebrity Justice. I totally missed it and I'm currently looking to see if the Burt part comes on again, but I'm not seeing it. I did go to the CJ website and saw this article:
Burt Ward April 3, 2003 It's a part of American pop culture, blockbusters like "Batman" and "Batman Returns." But it all started with the now classic 60's TV show starring Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin. Ward says, "I have to continue to grow. There's other things I have to do in life and I'm doing those things and having the best time I've ever had." Now Ward rescues Great Danes. He has a rescue operation that holds about 30 of the large playful creatures at his home outside Los Angeles and has saved the lives of thousands of the real life Marmadukes over the years. But now the onetime superhero's rescue operation is facing a neighborhood nemesis, putting Ward in a jam worthy of one of his old episodes. Ward recently boasted of his passion to save Great Danes on a television special, "Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt." But some of his neighbors have complained, popping questions about poop, charging that waste contaminated runoff is going into a small creek they say leads to the Santa Ana River. Local water quality officials have been quoted as saying "runoff taken in February contained at least 40 times the fecal bacteria level acceptable for such a creek." They have reportedly ordered Ward to fix the problem or face fines. But with movies like "Scooby Doo" making big dogs like Great Danes trendy, many animal lovers say Ward's rescue group is the last chance for the hard to handle pets. Ward reportedly vows to do whatever it takes to keep his beloved Great Dane rescue open. Local officials tell "CJ" they're certain Ward will triumph. Water officials tell us Burt Ward has now agreed to fix the problem and the local city council hopes to soon give Ward's ward the stamp of approval. ********** Okay, wait. I think I just found a time. Mom said it was on today around 9 or 9:30. Look at this. EPISODE GUIDE SHOW TITLE: Celebrity Justice CATEGORY: CHANNEL: 5 [WGNSAT] DATE / TIME: April 7: 9:30AM CHANNEL: 2 [WSB] DATE / TIME: April 5: 1:05AM LENGTH: 30 Minutes NOTES: English Maybe we can see it at 1:05 AM. I can't guarantee Burt will be on there then, but if you tune it, maybe you can luck up. |
