I liked her alot too - what was the reason for her departure? I once heard that she had a drug addiction, which led to her being fired - but I'm not sure if it was the truth, or if it was just a nasty rumor.

I hope that Laurie will be making some more guest appearances. She is so funny and I think they should make her come back so she can fool around with Kelso.

then Her and Eric could have fights again just like old times

well i hear also that she was fired cause of drug use...

the sow promotes drug use yet they fire one of the great actresses on the show...I think they are on the wacky stick icky tomacco

Um yeah, marijuana, which they "promote" on the show, is completely harmless compared to the crap she was doing.

Not to mention, I bet it was hard to get the show done when she kept coming into work all messed up because she wasn't going to rehab like she said she would when they told her to. BIG difference there.

Anyway, just letting you know she IS coming back again near the end of this season, so no worries.
