We only have a Dollar G (or DG), FL, Rite Aids, Suzy's, Go-Fart, and we also have a Pizza-Slut.

When translated the names are-Dollar General, Foodland, Rite Aid, the C&S resturant, and Go-Mart. We hardly have any businesses anymore. People also call Foodland, FoodAnd b/c the "l" in the sign hs been burnt out for like 3 years & they never fixed it.

Cool re: fake shop names

Rainmart.

In Needful Things by Steven King, there was a sewing shop called You Sew And Sew; and in the movie Earth Girls Are Easy, there was a hairstyling salon called Curl Up And Dye.

omg, For a while we had a store in town called Needful Things. It was just like a little junk store that didn't make much business. I think people were scared of the name so they didn't shop there, lol!
