Who was your favorite Designing Woman? Where did Anthony fit in? What about the "others" (i.e., Bernice, BJ, Allison, Carlene...)

My favorite was Mary Jo - I think Annie Potts has great comedic talent and she really pulled that out for Mary Jo. The episode Julia and Mary Jo get stuck under a bed is my favorite - Potts was hilarious in that one, as always.

My next favorite is Julia - I loved her tantrums and her attitude

Charlene is next followed by Suzanne. I do like Suzanne and I thought Delta Burke was great but she's just at the bottom of the list ~ I dont dislike her or her character.

For the "others" I put Anthony right at the top - Mesach Taylor was hilarious, and remember him in Mannequin?

Then Carlene, Bernice, Allison and BJ.

I've always been a fan of Jan Hooks because of Saturday Night Live and while Carlene was incredibly stupid I did think she had a lot of funny moments because of Hooks. Not everyone could have played off that character.

I thought the uppity, uptight, snotty character of Allison could have been developed much more but Julia Duffy left and was not. Does anyone know why she left the show? I did not like the character of BJ at all.
