Lately I have been watching this show and I have been loving it to pieces. My favorite characters are Fred and Julio and that silly goat. lol. Fred and Julio are so funny when they interact with each other. It is like they are always at odds and arguing over something. Their arguments are so funny at times. I find myself cracking up as I hear their argument and then I laugh even harder when that silly goat comes in the scene causing nothing but more havoc for Fred. This show is such a classic I think and I am glad TV Land brought it back for us to love it all over again. But this time, it is actually my first. Oh, "Sanford and Son" is currently my #1 favorite classic sitcom!

The show is a true classic. It's not necessarily the best 70's sitcom, but it's up near the top of the list.

Most definitely,it is a classic!!! First off,I first started watching Sanford and Son in reruns on my San Antonio station and I watched Sanford, the spin-off of Sanford and Son,also I watched it when it was on TBS,when they had Braves games on TV,beforehand they had Sanford and Son,when they were in rain delay,Sanford and Son always came on. I have the complete 29 tape set of the Columbia House Video Collection of Sanford and Son and the 2 seasons of Sanford and Son on DVD. The show was a laugh riot from beginning to end,so many memorable episodes, his exchanges with Lamont, Aunt Esther, Grady,Bubba,Rollo, and Julio were really funny. This show is one of the tops of my all time lists of show I like.

I think Sanford and Son is one of Norman Lear's better works as a sitcom developer. I think it can be considered as one of the funniest sitcoms of all time, and quite possibly one of the best of it's time.

I also love Julio & Chico. Any time they were on, it was a laugh riot.
The show itself is one of the funniest I've ever seen. It's so un-PC and sarcastic - I love it!!
