Classical score for "American Dreams" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

before the series started, i would hear the promo for it on the radio and they used to play this classical piece, I've heard it before in movies as well, very popular.

Does anyone by chance know the composer/title?

It might be "So Was Red" by Thomas Newman from the Shawshank Redemption soundtrack - you might search for that and listen to it.
