My uncle had shingles. It really is an awful illness. Isn't it related to chicken pox?

Shingles is the adult manifestation of the chicken-pox virus.
I'm a lucky b*stard cos I've caught either, but I'm told it's hell!

I cheered when Dave came back. That top 10 was a riot. And finally, Word's of Wisdom again.

I caught chicken pox late--I was 16, and that was hell enough, but those shingles are a bear. My mother has actually had shingles twice! I'm glad Dave was able to come back as soon as he did. I thought he may have been out even longer.

I had the chickenpox when I was about 6.

Anyway, I remember my grandmother had the shingles. It was hell for her

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.
