Thumbs down

Death is not a laughing matter! You should be ashamed of yourself. How would you feel if the April Fools joke/prank actually came true! Then you would be sorry. Like I said, there is nothing remotely funny about dying or death. It's a VERY serious issue and someday all of us are going to face it whether we want to or not.

Oh Geeze, I think some people need to lighten up. I mean, it's not as if anyone's going to kill themselves if they thought that Conan O'Brien died, ...would they?!
Sitcomwriter, I think the people who got mad at you for this either love Conan O'Brien so much that they can't stand the thought of you using his name for this joke, or they're ghouls who were thinking they were about to read about Conan's grisly death, then you disappointed them and caught them all off guard and they're mad at you for it.
I think Conan would laugh at this!
Even though, Sitcomwriter, it WAS kind of lame.
But nothing you should be vilified for!

People need to lighten up, are you kidding me? Were talking about death here, if death can't even be sacred and can be made a joke of, then I say this world is a disgusting place. Just imagine if one of Conan's friends, or family came to this board and saw that headline. It would scare the crap out of them. What if someone wrote that you were killed on some message board and one of your loved ones saw it. Would you be saying just lighten up to people under those circumstances? I seriously doubt it. Sitcomwriter, you apologized, and I accept that apologize. Just think a little harder before posting something like that next time.

I think this post should be deleted incase someone who personally knows Conan comes to this board. I would hate for them to see a post with that title.
