THE CD WILL BE IN STORES MAY 6TH!

I just got an e-mail from the NBC Press Corrispondant for American Dreams.

Thought you guys would want to know.

Heck... I want AD released on DVD as soon as the season's over... I love this show, and getting to watch it anytime I want... with crystal clear reception would rock!

Yay! That's really good news! I can't wait to get all the songs of AD. Did the email say what songs will be on it, like the theme song, etc?

I think I heard they were supposed to expand the theme song into a full length song. That would be good.

The theme song is considerably longer. I attended the Paley Festival event honoring ADreams and they played the full version while the cast was getting ready for the panel discussion. It is cool, but also very weird to hear another chorus. I am so used to hearing the short version. Anyways, I also have this whole series on DVD if anyone has anything cool to trade. I am in LOVE with American Dreams and I'm definately going to buy the CD the minute it's out!!!

Now if only *pleasepleaseplease* they would make a DVD when the season's over!!

I have a question though, Mdanner, how long did it take you to get a reply from NBC?

And no Bob Dylan?? I'm with Luke, I think his early songs are great!! Also, what about that one song that was on the record with the "B-side"? The one that was the British version of Dylan. I liked that one too! Oh, and I wonder what happened to the Michelle Branch song too.

yeah I was hoping that Michelle Branch would be on.i have Lesley Gore"s greatest hits album and I like that song Leann Rimes did "Where The Boys Are".Im still psyched about it though.Well toodles I have rehearsal to go to from Julia

I'm happy that "Wishin' and Hopin'" and "Sounds of Silence" is on the list. But, what happened with "I Want to Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles?! I don't remember all those songs being on AD.
