Default Do you actually LIKE any new cartoons?

Are there any cartoons that have come out in the last few years that you think are any good?

Personally I only like a few:

Recess
Lloyd in Space
The remake of Teenage Mutuant Ninja Turtles
South Park
King of the Hill
The Simpsons

I miss all the good 80's cartoons, and I cannot STAND the new trend of making EVERYTHING japanese animation.

As Recess is 1997, I guess I can say:

Family Guy
Weekenders
Fillmore
Kim Possible, a little
South Park (96)
2DTV

and others

Eh, let me see. I liked Doug and Pepper Ann. Those were really the only two that I kind of like that's kind of current. I loved watching Beavis and Butthead, but they aren't on anymore. No reruns of B & B anywhere, but basically that's it. Nothing that current, I suppose.

I don't really like how some cartoons become so trendy. Trends kind of turn me off. I used to like Rugrats and then it just got so trendy and I stopped liking the show. You oughta be able to watch a cartoon, anything for that matter and just be able to watch the show. You shouldn't have to go out of your house and see 10 million items for something. It's cool to have items for some shows, but when you have pencils, erasers, tablets, vitamins, band aids, etc dedicated to one show, it just gets to be too much.

Tokyo Pig (ABC Family) is quite possibly the best cartoon in decades. It is extremely funny, random and just awesome (from the animation to the writing to the voice acting and even the music!)

Pokemon is a great show, IMO. The perfect blend of action and comedy with great theme songs and funny jokes with great voice acting.

Jackie Chan Adventures is a tamer action-comedy jaunt, but still is quite enjoyable.

Buzz Lightyear of Star Command is a great sci-fi cartoon (even some Star Trek writers have written for it!) with humor and good acting.

Recess, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, What's New Scooby Doo, Hamtaro, Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures and Pinky & The Brain are also great toons. So, yes, if you can find them, new toons can be coollicious!

I had actually forgotten about Buzz Lightyear. I watch that sometimes when I am getting ready for work, and its not too bad. I had also forgotten PepperAnn and Doug. I must say I liked Nickelodeons version of Doug much better than ABC's version though-- anyone agree?

I like the Angry Beavers, and I used to like Doug and Rugrats, but I can't stand watching those anymore.

Out of new cartoons that have debuted within the past few years:

RECESS
PEPPER ANN
The new DOUG
WHAT'S NEW, SCOOBY DOO?

Older cartoons:

CHARLIE BROWN & SNOOPY SHOW
SIMPSONS
BUGS BUNNY & TWEETY SHOW
BUGS & DAFFY SHOW
TINY TOON ADVENTURES
FUTURAMA

And of course, all the Disney Afternoon shows (GUMMI BEARS to GARGOYLES), ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS (Not the awful original version), SCOOBY DOO, FLINSTONES, THE JETSONS, and THE SMURFS.

X-Men: Evolution (2000-Present) - I find this much more enjoyable than the "original" animated series.

The Mummy (2001-Present) - Just a fun cartoon with a nice group of characters.

I also like: Futurama and King of the Hill.

I'm not realy big on the cartoons of today. I guess that may be mainly because I'm 22, lol. But I still love to watch all the cartoons that I enjoyed watching while growing up. I came home yesterday to see that the Jem pilot movie I ordered arrived. Man, I actually got to watch it today and it was great. ::sigh:: Ah, memories...

Well, I'm 22 as well

And something I can't believe I forgot to add: Nicktoons. HEY ARNOLD, the old DOUG, LIFE WITH GINGER, ROCKO's MODERN LIFE and SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS are all great.

And although y'all will say I'm too old for them, I kinda like THE BERENSTAIN BEARS; and ARTHUR is alright

Spongebob Squarepants! LOL
Also Pepperann, Hey Arnold, Fairly Oddparents, The Weekenders, Doug and Rocko's Modern Life (I don't know if the last two really count as recent) are all pretty good. Not much a fan of anything else...I like the goofy stupid cartoons like Spongebob though because they're so messed up that it's funny LOL.

I don't. I love the original one better, it had the Phoenix Saga in it. I love The Oblongs and The Simpsons. Batman Beyond is okay. I don't really watch cartoons that much.

Right now, I'm loving Kim Possible. I also love Powerpuff Girls, and I used to love Doug and Rugrats. (I still like them, but I was more into them when I was younger.) The Simpsons can be hilarious, too.

The early episodes of RUGRATS are good and were appealing to older kids as well, but the episodes now are horrible! The animation is a lot worse (BERENSTAIN BEARS/SAGWA-esque animation) and the writing has gone waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay downhill.
