HEY YOU GUUUUYYYYYSSSS!!!!!!
Remember that opening from the show? I thought that it was one of the best childrens' shows on PBS ever! Just as good as the original Seseme Street if not better! Does Noggin still show the reruns of the show? Some of my favorite skits: The Short Circus Songs... Remember "Punctuation", "Poison" and the "Sweet Sweet Sway?" How about the "Lolipop Song?" Silent E The Sign Song......("In....Out.....Park......Walk") I have that one memorized! Fiddler on the Chair I Hate to Wash Spiderman/Letterman Skits.....I remember the villians Mr. Freeze and the Funny Bunny! Love of Chair...("The Boy is Sitting!") Silent E The "Pain" Song Jennifer of the Jungle (With Paul the Gorilla!) A Very Short Book Fargo North Decoder, Dr. Doolock Julia Grown-Up Does anyone know what the cast is doing now or have any information about the show that they would like to share? (Memories, trivia....ect) Everyone from the cast had fond memories of the show, except Morgan Freeman (He played among other charactors Eazy Reader) They don't make childrens' TV like this anymore! That show was even better than Sesame Street!! I remember Morgan Freeman playing Dracula for a commercial called "Snope", I thought that was hilarious!!
Letterman and the villain the Spellbinder...I thought one of the coolest parts was an animated clip where this black hipster guy struts down the street and starts up a conversation with a baby who has this vivid interpretation of a rock band (band members whose members are literally rocks)--"those cats were really smoking!" (felines huffing on stogies), etc. They had some great moments on there. And of course, the lady who went "HEYYYYYYY YOUUUUU GUYYYYYYS!!!!!!!!!!" |

I very vaguely remember this series. VERY vaguely. So vaguely that all I remember from it is the "HEY YOU GUYS" from the beginning of the show. Was it before my time?

"Taking the "E" from his chest..." We were also clueless as to who his nemesis was. Spellbinder! Now I remember! Electric Company was a true classic. Very hip.

I remember watching The Electric Company on WNET Channel 13. They were like 1975-76 season reruns I saw. I remember the "HEY YOU GUYYYYYYSSS!" openings, and the theme song. I also remember Letterman and Spiderman skits. I mostly remember the 1975 opening as shown on Retromedia.tv.

I love that show!
"What about...Naomi?" I love that cartoon with the guy in the restaurant ordering Sweet Rolls. Don't forget Easy Reader, Little Girl, and Jennifer of the Jungle. |

How about Fargo North Decoder (Skip Hinnant)? And I also remember J. Arthur Crank (Jim Boyd). Jennifer of the Jungle was played by Judy Graubart who also played Julia Grownup.

Fargo North Decoder was cool I liked him too. J. Arthur Crank was cool. My mom liked him.
Hattie Winston, who plays Margaret on Becker, was also on EC. She was The Thumper in a Spiderman segment. |

ANYone who grew up in the 70's *hadda* watch that show! It was the law! I loved it & it was actually very funny.
![]() I was a HUGE Spiderman fan, so whenever it came on, I went ape! "No-body knows who you arree!" Sucks that I can't get Noggin. I'd be taping all of em. Makes me wonder what today's kids who see it think of it. At the very least, there's a cool place I can go to to see episodes- the museum of tv & radio in NYC. You can see nearly *anything* there. Morgan Freeman was the man on that show! "Easy Reader, that's my name ah say, MM, mm, mm!"! And he was hilarious when he played the cowering cue card holder opposite Rita Moreno's loudmouth movie director! |

Jennifer of the Jungle was played by Judy Graubart. Back then I remember seeing her in a lot of commercials. ![]() As far as I know Joanne Worley was not in the cast.
