Default Favourite character

Okay, old school thread here. Of the principals (ie, those who IMDB would list as starring roles-that includes Yvonne Zima and Hallee Hirsh), who is your favourite?

Mine are:

1) Robert Romano MD-so like me, in so many ways
2) Doug Ross MD-the most flippant, outrageous man ever to grace the earth
3) Gregory Pratt MD-for flawless acting

And honourable mentions go out to Paul Nathan, for making me well up with tears, and Leon Pratt, for the same.

My favourite "patient" was Ed Asner as McNulty. What a bastard.

In no order-

1] Lucy Knight. I liked her. A lot. RIP.

2] Romano. What a blunt person... way too funny

3] Susan. Yeah, I know, not a lot of people like her, but she's just down-to-Earth.

1. Luka Kovac- great acting, complicated character, and very sexy

2. Robert Romano- He's evil and nasty, but can be very funny. you can tell that his rough exterior hides an insecure, lonely man.

3. Mark Greene- The "heart" of the show. Not always my favorite, but was much-needed. Carter just can't fill the void Mark left behind.

4. Susan Lewis- She's nice and a good doctor and a good friend.

5. Michael Gallant- Reminds me of the good old, sweet Carter, the one before Lucy came along.

6. Doug Ross- Great, bad-boy character. I prefer Luka though.

7. Dave Malucci- Added some humor to the show.

8. Anna Del Amico- Should have lasted longer. I thought she made a great love interest for Carter.

9. Elizabeth Corday- I liked her better in the early seasons. I think she and Romano would make a good couple.

10. Peter Benton- Critical, self-absorbed, arrogant, yet there was something likeable about him.

11. Kerry Weaver- Mean and bitchy, but adds to the show.

12. John Carter- Loved him in the earlier episodes, can't stand him now. He's still cute though.

Never liked Lucy, Carol, Abby, Pratt, Chen, or Cleo.

I like Gallant. He's a real nice guy and always tries his best

Weaver amuses me at times. She's a total bitch, yet I feel for her. Losing the baby, can't find her real parents, having Romano hate her (that's gotta be tough, I mean come on, it's him we're talking about here) so I don't mind her at times

I cannot STAND Carter anymore. He's turning somewhat evil.

I agree. I miss the old Carter so much. The guy that is on now is NOT Carter!

We saw the old Carter return in "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished"...And then the old Carter got punched in the balls.

Luka is a great guy, flawed, but his heart's in the right place-ticking off that bulimic, etc. Romano is obviously using humour to protect himself, and he was evidently shattered when Jensen flipped at him. Mark was a bit too sappy for me, though The Letter was so sappy it made me cry. I'd say yeah, Carter is the new Greene, but not a direct attempt at replacement, no.

Susan is hilarious sometimes..."yup, almost midnight...let the screaming begin" etc, and her general party girl demanour. Gallant is so idealistic, and he was great in Don't Call Me Mikey. Benton...LOL...I loved the quote about him being Lucifer. That was the best ER moment ever. But he himself...meh, often funny, but also often dull. Kerry is fun, but the character has got MORE 2D...if that's possible.

Kerry-I'm a huge fan. She can be seen as a bitch at times, but you can feel for her also.

Abby- She's alright. I didnt like her for awhile because she seemed so self indulgent, but I like her now.

Susan- She just needs a man. That's all.

Deb- I wish that she would just leave the show. She has no significance.

Elizabeth- She misses Mark. I love her and I just hope she's able to move on. Great doctor.

Romano- I hope that he "accidently" steps off a cliff and dies!

Luka- He's one of my favs. I just hope that he gets his head i\on straight in time 4 the new season
