Default Lisa, the Vegetarian

Has anyone seen the Simpsons ep where Lisa stops eating meat? This all happened when Lisa adored a cute little lamb that kissed her. Speaking of "lamb", the whole family was served "lamb" chops. Lamb chops? That cute little lamb in Lisa's head bleated "I thought you lo-o-o-o-o-ved me!" Then, in class, Skinner was showing a movie with Troy McClure about meat. That's when Troy and the kid walk inside a slaughterhouse and the kid walks out all pale and shaky. This all stopped Lisa from eating meats. Right?

I love that episode, it also had Paul and Linda Mcartney in it.

It was funny when Lisa said "It's enough they eat meat but do they have to rub it in my face?" and then the chop came through the window and landed on her face!

And yes, that was the one when she stopped eating meat.

Smile Lisa != meat

The funniest part about that episode in my opinion was how Apu had the door to the roof in the non-alcholic beer freezer door. Lisa askes "What if people want non-alcoholic beer?",
Apu replies, "You know, it's never come up."

Yeah, and why was the class served "tripe" after the movie? Lisa stood up and shouted "don't you realize you've just been brainwashed by corporal propaganda?" During Homer's "BBBQ" [What's the extra B in BBBQ mean?] Lisa was about to serve the whole backyard Gazpacho. [or is that Borscht?] The funniest part in that "meatless" ep is the pig incident. The pig's in the water, "It's just a little slimy!" And the pig's in the air, "It's just airborne!"

Well Gazpacho originates from Spain. The Latin American people don't eat it so that's probably why you never heard of it.

Well, why did one of the guys in the backyard reply to Lisa, "go back to Russia"?

Well gazpacho isn't a beet soup, but it is served cold. If she said she was served a cold beet soup, she probably meant Borscht. And Borscht originates from Eastern Europe. Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, etc.

Let's move on? Now, would you go inside a slaughterhouse and watch cows (or other bovine) get chopped up and stored as meat? That would be scary. Like when Troy McClure showed the kid how meat is made, the boy walked out of the slaughter house all pale and shaky. Would you believe Lisa Simpson that it is wrong to eat meat?

No.
Ham?
No.
Pork chops?
Dad! Those all come from the same animal!
Right Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal. I love that part.

I like the part when Lisa is running around the neighborhood, and everywhere she goes, she sees meat ads. One from Krusty Burger which says "Try our beef flavored chicken sandwich" then a billboard which says "Don't eat beef" then changes to "Eat DEER", then to Kwik-E-Mart and 3 hot dogs for $.99, right? Apu replied to Lisa they were tofu dogs. No meat, and thrice the fat of a normal hot dog.

That independent thought alarm was hilarious -- it just goes to show you how weird Lisa is!

This was the episode where we first began to see the truly evil side of Lisa.
