I hope you've only been "hearing" these things. I hardly tink they're true, but you never know how people can be nowadays. Besides, kicking someone out of somewhere for just a t-shirt is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

If that's the case than it's getting ridiculous out here............
I say let the people wear what they want except if it's pornographic! Now if you go to a fancy restaurant or a wedding than you shouldn't wear the shirt,

That's sad, in context.
Is this not America?!? Whatever happened to the following of the first ammendment in the constitution... the thing that is supposed to be ruling this country!!! It's in the constitution that we have the freedom of speech! What happened to America...? *shakes head* Sad... very sad. |

Once again people aren't hearing the whole story. The man and his grown son were asked to change out of peace t-shirts they had made right there in the mall. They refused, and security ushered them out. The mall owners put this policy in place because just the day before, there were a whole group of anti-war protesters with the same kind of t-shirts in the mall, chanting and disrupting business, and they didn't want that happening again.
Just as people have a right to protest for peace in the right venue, people have a right to go to the mall with their kids and shop in peace, without being confronted by hourds of yelling demonstrators. And the mall owners decided it was in their best interests, in the interests of the shops in the mall, and in the interests of their customers to enact this all encompassing policy of not allowing certain kinds of messages on t-shirts in the mall, kind of like not allowing gang colors in schools. Things that could cause an uproar and disrupt the "peace" for their shoppers. And I think they are right! |

By the way, I don't think anyone is really "Pro-war", they're just anti-do-nothing. (Sorry for the double negative!) |
