"Lies My Parents Told Me" Episode
I found something to be very strange about this episode. After Spike had sired his mother, she started to torment him by saying that his poetry was rotten, she should have killed him after he was born, etc. etc. As Spike was fighting Principal Wood, he said he finally realized that his mother didn't hate him, it was only the demon he had let loose within her. Well, to me, something doesn't make sense here. If Spike was also a vampire as his mother said such things, why did it hurt him so much? I mean, he didn't have a soul, so why would he have any compassion or feelings left about his mother or what she said? Why was he not acting much different now that he was a vampire? It's not like Angel had much feelings for his mother after he became a vampire. Did anyone else find this confusing?
