Many cast members of Happy Days came and went , but the show
just wasn't the same when Ron Howard decided to leave. I give the cast and crew credit, they still did a pretty good job, but the main focus of the show was gone. What Happy Days (mostly) was about was an unlikely friendship between a motorcycle riding
greaser, and a "nerd." The two characters brought out the best in each other, such as Richie becoming more and more self-confident, and Fonzie learning that not all problems could be solved with brawn - sometimes you had to use your brain. Watch the very early episodes, and then the later ones, to see how much these two characters evolved though their interactions together.

Agreed totally. They lost out when Richie left. I think the show wouldve done a little better if they didnt treat Potsie so bad.. he was there since the beginning too ya know!!!
