I downloaded Morpheus 2.0 MP3 downloader and I was wondering if it has spyware on it since it kind of is associated with Kazaa?

It used to come with BDE, a type of spyware that also came with Kazaa that sells your computer space and stuff, I know currently it still comes with WurldMedia Spyware, Latest I know about it anyway,

Why search for WinMX at download.com, when you can just go to their site at http://www.winmx.com.

Thanks this info will help me out alot. For a while I had Kazaa then someone told me there was spyware on it and we ended up having a virus on our computer because of that but we got it fixed then I deleted that so now I'm looking for a new MP3 downloader.

I used to have Kazza, but I got rid of it,cuz i Heard that it had a virus in it...SO i got rid of it right away! But when I dl music i used winmx.com thats a pretty good site for music

I dont think Kazaa itself has a virus unless you downloaded a version of it from a hackers website or somethin... but many of its files have viruses in em, Like a lot of them!

Ok I downloaded WinMX v3.31 but I have one little problem everytime I download a song it downloads it on my desktop how do I make it so it doesn't download it there but in my WinMX file folder
