Reference - 'Early One Morning' song - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I watched tonights episode of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and they used that song called 'Early One Morning' and it reminded me of Liz singing it in the King Henry VIII episodes. Just thought I'd make that reference. Below are the lyrics from the version I have of Liz singing the song. I also got this version from Vic's Bewitched Page.

Her voice was much more suited to ballads such as this. The rock-'n-roll tunes she sang as Serena (and perhaps once as Samantha?) were not very flattering. I believe Endora referred to Serena's singing as "wailing".

I personally like everything she sings on the show, but I do have to admit though that my favorites are 'Early One Morning' and 'Jolly Red Nose.'

Yes, but Serena was supposed to be a bad singer anyway.

EM's voice (as herself) was great-- here's "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" with Vic Damone in 1966:

I find her singing Early One Morning quite sexy. There was somewhat a sexy sound to Liz's voice when she did that song. Given that it was the final season of the show and it was played out. The one redeeming quality of that season was realizing that Liz Montgomery have a beautiful singing voice and her mod look definitely brought out a sexier side to her. Bill Asher, then husband, must had to keep a tight grip on Liz with that long hair and mini skirts.

She had one of those voices that could hypnotize you and no matter how much you try to resist you just have to hear it one more time.

Speaking of long hair and mini skirts, I don't know why but that just made me think of this quote from 'Double, Double, Toil and Trouble.' I'm sick of simmering like a watched pot I want to get out and boil.
