(scene 1 Alex, Jen, Andy, Elyse, and Steven our in the kitchen having a meeting )

Jen. Any other news?
Alex. Nope, I think that is it. And that concludes our “I Hate Nick” meeting.
(Mallory and Nick come walking in)
Mallory. Hey what are you guys up to?
(everyone quickly puts down their “nick” signs and sits there innocently)
All. Nothing!
Jen. We were just sitting here talking about nuclear bombs; you know the normal talk.
Nick. Cool, I thought I was the only one who had a casual discussion about bombs.
Andy. Don’t worry Nick, I really like you they make me join them.
Jen. Sh sh, Andy.
Mallory. What’s that supposed to mean?
Steven. He’s delirious, I think it’s time for sesame street, huh Andy? (takes him out of the room)
Mallory. Nick, you look so sad today. What’s the matter?
Nick. I really don’t want to talk about it.
Mallory. Oh come on Nick please tell me.
Alex. Nick, you can tell her, she isn’t bound to remember anything you say.
Mallory. Cut it out Alex.
Nick. Well, it’s just that today is the day that my brother Greg gets out of jail.
Mallory. I didn’t know you had a brother!
Nick. I don’t like talking about it. He’s an embarrassment.
Alex. (laughing) Oh nick this is great. What did your brother do?
Nick. He, well actually I don’t remember what he did. But I do remember I told on him for what eh did and he had to go to jail. So I am scared he will do something about it. Like revenge.
Alex. Gee Nick that’s too bad.
Mallory. Well, you can stay here and we will protect you.
(Steven shouts from living room. NO!)

Scene 2 (meanwhile at the county jail…)
Greg. All right I’m out of here.
Jail mate. Say hi to the world for me.
Greg. I will.
Jail mate. Are you gonna get your brother back?
Greg. You have no idea. (evil laugh)

SCENE 3 (a week later. Alex is walking around downtown)
Alex. Hey nick!
Greg. (looks confused) You talking to me?
Alex. Oh Nick, I knew you were dumb, but not that dumb.
Greg. I am not Nick I am Greg.
Alex. Oh, Nick’s brother who was in jail?
Greg. Yeah.
Alex. Sorry, you just look like nick.
Greg. Uh, how do you know Nick. I didn’t think he would hang out with people like you.
Alex. Sadly, he is dating my girlfriend.
Greg. Oh really.
Alex. Supposedly they are on a date right now.
Greg. You don’t say?
Alex. Yeah.
Greg. Where?
Alex. Um, at The Chip’s in Dip. It’s some restaurant in downtown Columbus.
Greg. Gee, thanks.

Scene 4. (Mal and Nick at the restaurant)
Mallory. Well this is a nice place.
Nick. Sure is!
Mallory. Nick, do feel like someone is watching us?
Nick. Um, no.
Mallory. Well, I am probably wrong but it just feels like we are being watched.
Nick. Oh okay.
(suddenly out of no where a loud shot occurs, and Nick goes flying to the ground)
Mallory. Nick! Are you okay? (leans down to him)
Nick. (groans)
Mallory. Somebody call 911!

The reach the hospital, but it is too late. Nick has died. The whole keaton family arrives at the hospital.

Scene 5 (the hospital)
Elyse. Mallory, shh, calm down, it’s okay.
Mallory. It’s not okay. He died. He died. None of you care.
Steven. That’s not true.
Mallory. Yeah right.
Police. We found out who the murder was.
All. Who?
Police. His brother, Greg. He is now in jail without bail. It’s a lifetime sentence.
Alex. Oh no.
Mallory. What?!
Alex. Well um, I kind of ran into Greg downtown today. I mistook him for Nick. We got talking and I told him were you would be on your date.
Mallory. You didn’t!
Alex. I did.
Mallory. Remember how Nick told you Greg would get back at him.
Alex. I’m sorry Mallory, I forgot. I had a lot on my mind.
Mallory. And you said I would forget. This is all your fault Alex.
Alex. Look at the bright side Mal, no more Nick. You can move on to better things.
Jen. Alex, can I talk to you?
Alex. Sure.
(move over to a corner where no one can hear them)
Jen. I feel guilty. Like it is our fault that Nick died. I mean we kind of wished it upon him.
Alex. Don’t worry about it Jen. It was his time to go. We had nothing to do with his death. It was fate.
Jen. Yeah, you keep telling yourself that. I feel sorry for Mallory. I am going to go over and ask of she needs anything.

Scene 6 (at the house 3 weeks later)
Jen. Boy it’s sure is a lot more quiet without Nick.
Mallory. Jen, don’t say that word.
Steven. Mal, you have been doing great for the last week or so.
Mallory. I guess. All I know is I’m not making any more friends anymore, I kill them off.
Jen. Well, actually Alex kind of killed this one.
Mallory. Yeah.
Alex. I didn’t mean too.
Mallory. I know I know. To tell you all the truth, I only dated him because I knew you all hated him.
Al. what?
Mallory. I liked him as a friend, but I would never have married him. I go for the intellectual type there. It’s kind of a nice breather from him.
Alex. Then the last 4 years have been a complete waste.
All. (groan) Mallory we can’t believe you.

The end!!!! I know the end sucks, but I had writers block.

Aw, that's so sad that Nick died. I can't believe Mallory actually didn't like him. If Nick really had a brother like Greg, I can see why the Keatons never really met the Moores before Mallory started going out with him.

lol yeah, I just don't like Nick so I felt like writing him out.

I understand that Alex and the rest of the family didn't really like Nick, but I don't think Alex would be so blaise about his death. I would expect him to have more sympathy than that.

Sure you can join. I'm definitely a member of the "we hate Nick" club.

Years ago I posted some Mallory and Skippy fan fictions, but deleted them because I didn't think that any fan fictions were legal. I read somewhere that they weren't. I think I should write a new one.

That is if anyone is interested in read it.
