Question Having a login problem

So now that I have my internet finally hooked up at home, I go to the login window where you type in your username. A message comes up which asks you if you want the computer to remember the name so you don't have to type it in all the time, and I type yes. So it types it in automatically--BUT the name is misspelled and there's no way I can change it!! Anyone know how I can change this??

Have you tried logging out, and then signing back in?

Default still doing it...

So I logged out and it says all cookies cleared, but when I log back in, when I type my user name the thing automatically shows
Captain ABlaiirica (one extra i). So I'm still having the same problem. The automatic username window would be kinda nice without having to type more than I have to.

One thing I notice is when you make a mistake it never let's you forget it. It will always come up. I personally ride with it. I just type my name over & over everytime I come on the site. I could go and delete the mistake (somewhere in the history) but, I'm afraid to make another mistake.

Default re: login

This isn't the problem with the login window when it tells you that you're not logged in after you keep logging in after half a dozen times (I fixed that already with the cookies), it's when I had a MSN
message that pops up and says "Do you want the computer to remember this username and password each time you login?" (something like that), and I clicked yes. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that I had misspelled my username--when you go to the username space, the name pops up with the name typed in already, so you just click on that so you don't have to type in your name all the the time, it already does it for you. So I'm just trying to figure out how to readjust the thingie. It's not a big deal, but I'd just like to have things convenient. I couldn't find a way to go back to that MSN window to reset my options.

Like I said I get this all the time. Let's see who can help us both with this.
