Red face We have GOT to stop talking G/MA! We've simply GOT to!

It's beginning to effect me!!!!

One little aspect of my personality I forgot to let everybody in on is that I have dreams that could rival ANYTHING that writing staff ever came up with for GI. As a matter of fact, the answer to the question What's my favorite episode? would be "Any episode at all with a dream sequence." I love dreams and I love dreaming provided the action doesn't get too weird and I am in control the whole time. I have dremt myself in front of a TV set and watching entire new episodes (written, directed, produced and sometimes even starring me!) to certain shows I am hooked on at the time.

Well we all know which show I am hooked on now and which Fan Fic and Message Boards for that matter so it should come as no surprise that various characters are now popping up in my slumbering adventures.

I dremt last night that I woke up (yes, my dreams DO get that incongruous!). I realized that it was Sunday and I didn't have to be anywhere anytime soon so I decided to just hang out in bed for a little while and relax. I opened my eyes again and who (or is it whom?) should I see standing in my bedroom but the Skipper! Yes! There he was, Jonas Grumby, himself, captain's hat and all standing just inside my bedroom door and informing me that breakfast was ready and was I going to get up and come downstairs now?

I said no that I thought I'd stay in bed for awhile and I'd be down a little later.

So then he said to me that if I wasn't going to get up right now, could he get in bed with me?

I emphatically said NO and told him to go away which he did but he was very disappointed.

That's where the dream ended and without my sitting up in bed screaming, if you can believe it!

So I've thusly come to the conclusion that we've got to stop talking about Gilligan and Mary Ann as the perfect couple because I think there's a part of my subconscious that's hearing this and figuring that if Gilligan and Mary Ann are the perfect couple, the perfect compliment to that would the the Skipper and Mary Ellen!

Please, PLEASE don't do that to me! Don't make me do it! I can't! I just can't!

Well, in order to save the poor Skipper's honor, I feel I should clarify that he just said he wanted to lay down in bed with me, he never said he was going to do anything once there. It could be the poor man was exhausted after tending all those fire signals the night before and gathering all that firewood for the day to come, maybe he just needed a few minutes rest.

Um, no--I can't stop writing Gilligan and Mary Ann fanfics. Sorry, LOL. I've got some ideas I'm trying to work on. And if you've read the ones I posted on the fanfic board, you know what they're about. Yes, it's a strange pastime, but I could do worse things, LOL.

I'm currently thinking (haven't written a word yet, though) about having someone show up on the island that Gilligan knew in high school. He will, of course, be a real jerk, someone who picked on Gilligan and still does, and who will be totally jealous and incredulous of the fact that Gilligan has Mary Ann. We'll just have to see how this pans out.

Sorry, mebyrne--your weird dreams will have to continue, LOL!

Erm. **blinks** No. LOL. Sorry, dude. (I think we're using your weird dreams as an excuse to get us to shut up...and it ain't gonna work!)

It simply cannot be done. Especially by me. **grin**

Ooh, BTW, 'iDOhavealife', sounds like a good idea for a fic! Are you gonna pick up where you left off before and do like a series of little fics? Sounds like a good time...

Yeah, I plan to continue on from where I left off in the "diary" fic. But, I think I'm going to try to write the whole "jerk friend from high school" (LOL) fic before I post it. Usually I post what I have, then write more and post, then write more and post, etc., but I really don't know where this one is going to head, so I don't want to start something I can't finish. Thanks for thinking it sounds like a good idea. That whole "show up somebody who used to give me crap" plotline has always appealed to me. I guess because I know of a bunch of people who used to treat me like that, and I'd like to say, "na na na na boo boo", .

I'm in a weird mood tonight. We had houseguests this week, and I'm tired. They're gone now, and I can get back to normal tomorrow. I may try to start writing tomorrow morning.

Night, all.

LOL. Nice. Yeah, it's also better to post all in one sweep (from my POV, anyway) so you can go back and edit large chunks without having people get confused. I should know, I edit everything 30 times before I'm satisfied...
