Does it bug you when people put quotes or song lyrics in their siggy but don't attribute them to anyone?
It bothers me. Sometimes I've read some really cool quotes in people's sigs but they've never bothered to put who said them in the first place so I dunno where they came from. I know it's not a big deal but I just wondered if anyone else was bothered by it. |

I'm not bothered by it, but in case people are wondering about my sig, it's lyrics from an anti-war song by the band Rusted Root called "Ecstasy".

It doesn't bother me too much, because I do it all the time. In case anyone really cares, my lyrics are from "The Stranger" by Billy Joel.

My siggy is the beginning of the song "In The Belly of the whale" by Newsboys but my favorite part of the song is:
In the belly of the whale In an underwater jail It's a tight squeeze. It's a-gettin' to me, But it's roomier Than the tail. Hey, sailor, Got my flow free Like a salmon to the sea From the L.A. Symphony. I'm a paddleboat Paddlin' in their wake, A fake free-styler, But my unemployment pays. I'm avoiding cliches Like "whale of a tale" say Or "you can't keep A good man down," 'Cause you can And I've been there, man. But I've been expectorated. I'm elated! I'm free like Willie! Happy Day! Oops, That's a bit of a cliche. |
