I remember Beanies!! Everyone in the UK was mad on them about 3 years ago. I have a few but I never bought any of them myself - they were given to me by other people. I've got a cat, a pig, a cow and about 4 different bears.
One of my bears is apparantly worth quite a bit of money but I was never that fanatical about beanies to actually worry about how much mine were worth.

I have a lot of the bears and a few others. I don't have like 268094 of them, though

My beanie cat is just like that - 'cept it's brown, not grey. It's called Pounce and was 'born' on August 28, 1997.

I kept the tags on all my beanies - you're not meant to take them off.
Since you mentioned Pokemon I must admit I preferred Pokemon to Beanies. I used to buy Pokemon cards. I have my entire collection - I have loads of Japanese cards - displayed on my bedroom wall. I also have about 5 different t-shirts with PiKachu and Team Rocket on them.
This would all be perfectly normal and acceptable were I not 18 years old at the time!!

They were my first obsession. I collected them when I was 8-10 years old. I think I have like.....a little over 100. It's crazy, I even paid $25 for that Princess Diana bear. And now I can't believe I'd pay $25 for a little thing like that. It seemed like I was buying at least two every week. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be the Golden Retriever, Fetch. Aww...

I still have some of them in my room with my other animals and stuff, but a lot of them are in a big box somewhere.

Yeah when I was in 5th grade my friends and I used to bring a different one to school everyday. I had so many of them, even after the craze was starting to die down, my grandmas kept buying them for me. They are all in boxes in the basement now, we needed 3 boxes for all of them, but I have the Princess Diana one in my room in a special case it came in when I got it.
