I know that Wings is often a butt of many jokes, but I liked it. Not only was it a good show but it was the lead-in to NewsRadio & Frasier for a while. I actuyally started watching it when it moved to Tuesdays & John Ritter's wife joined as Helen's sister. Wings surpassed Cheers for me because it had the same good writing but it didn't have Ted Danson's "acting". The only qualm I had that Lowell wasn't in or mentioned in the finale.

Yeah, but the whole show will be edited and several classic scenes
will be cut because, well, this is N@N. I thought for a while there that they edited alot out of the "Cosby" episode where the men all have 'babies'. |

I can't wait for Wings too. One week from tomorrow!
I never understood the animosity that a lot of people seem to have towards Wings. I always thought it was just as good as Cheers, The Simpsons, and early Frasier and definitely funnier than Friends, Seinfeld, and Will & Grace. (Sorry, but I never understood the appeal of those three shows.) |
