I am SO glad! I've been planning for Oscar day all week....
my VCR will be on from 7 AM - 12 AM.

I am so excited...and was so worried when they said it might be canceled, thanks for the link.

I wonder if any celebrities are going to voice their pro or anti-war sentiments at the Oscars. Hope not.

Good to see that normal life is still going on, despite the threat of war.

i read on AOL news that they aren't going to do the whole "red carpet" thing at the beginning!

Does this mean Joan and Melissa are out of a job?

Utilizing my superior supersluething skills, I have deduced that you're not a fan of Joan and Melissa.
I can't stand them myself. Loud, obnoxious--and those are their good qualities.
Who told Melissa she had talent, and Joan is tough to look at these days.
My catty side was bound to surface sooner or later.

I think they've made it an unspoken sort of rule not to. Of course, I don't know how that'll turn out. My guess is that we'll here a few generic, but sincere, statements of hopes for a better day.

LMAO! Im with you on that one. Meangya they need to take a nap.

I hope the speeches are kept short too. Meangya those are annoying. Especially if you win twice. Meangya, just say Thanks again and walk off. Youve already said it once.

I just want Catherine to go " I love Kaitlyn, I hate Michael Douglas" and walk off.

Like that'll happen
