I was told by someone today that Archie was known for his bad use of certain words. The way he would pronounce words. Is this true?

Yes, they are called Archie-isms because he says certain quotes like "Patience Is A Virgin" instead of Patience Is A Virtue

To me Archie's mangling of words or malaprops are some of the funniest bits in situation comedy history. Also, it is quite fun to engage in some malaprop spouting of one's own, try it. One that I came up with is "Beauty is in the eye of the beheader."
