Question Desi Arnaz cute?

Does anyone else think Desi was cute. I mean i think he is. He has quite the cuteness. I tell everyone that I'm going to Cuba on my honeymoon to find a really cute cuban (its the blonde hair) i'm gonna cheat on my husband on my honeymoon hmm..anywayz then everyone says well good luck trying to get back cause of the communisum. SUCK!. So now my new plan is to stand on the docks in the Florida Keys around april and may and wait for a cuban to come floating in lol lol I am ooooook. So what do you all think. I think he was quite attracitve lol k well bye!

This is gonna sound dumb, but it depends on how you look at him. Sometimes he looks good, sometimes not, but then don't we all! The overall consensus is yes, he's cute.

I think his son's cuter though.

Cool

He was *especially* cute when he first married Lucy. The Lucy & Desi Home Movie showed video tape of them together in the early days and he looked cute in most of 'em.

Well hi ho the derio, the cheese stands alone I guess. I don't personally find him that attractive, but maybe that's just because I know what an ass he was to Lucy in real life.

I guess when he was really young, like when he married Lucy, he was sort of cute, but he just doesn't do it for me.

I have a soft spot for Desi, but that aside, I think he's more handsome than cute. When he was younger, like in those first clips of Lucy/Desi: a home movie, Desi was adoreable, gosh he looked so young!

Desi Jr. is really adorable; I think he's better looking now than when he was younger. What a sweetie pie, and he seems like he's a great guy, too!

I think Desi Jr looked more like his dad when he (Desi Jr) was *younger*.

Cool

If any of you guys ever get a chance to see "The Mambo Kings", watch it just for Desi Jr.'s scenes as his father. (It's got sex scenes if you don't like that sort of thing) It scared me how much alike they looked.

Dawsongirl, please tell me more about the movie "Mambo Kings," I have yet to see it!

BTW, I was just visiting a website on Richard Dawson and I had no idea he was originally from England and his real name was Colin Emm. I also didn't know he had a young daughter. What was the deal with him not smiling on the last few seasons of "The Match Game?" I read somewhere that he refused to smile, but why?!

Ooo, lots of questions!!

Mambo Kings- it's a story of two Cuban brothers who come to America seeking fame and fortune with their mambo band. They play clubs, have some success, etc. The highlight of their career was when Desi Arnaz invited them to appear on I Love Lucy. In the movie, they show Desi Jr. as Desi Sr. being Ricky acting with his mother as Lucy. They used actual footage from episode #28- Cuban Pals. It's a pretty cool scene.

I love that site. I belong to the yahoo club that goes along with that site. The non-smiling thing: During the last few months of MG, Richard was not only doing 5 daytime episodes and 1 nighttime episode of MG, but also the same number of Family Feud episodes at the same time. He was tired and wanted out of MG. The producers and he got into a tiff and he quit. Gene didn't want him to leave because he knew Richard was a big part of the show, but...

The episode where he rufused to smile is classic. Someone in the audience asked him to smile. Gene goes over to Richard and says "We have a request from the audience." Then someone else shouted "C'mon, smile. Do it!" Richard turns to the audience and asks "Do you want me to smile or do it?" Gene then grabbed him by the face and they struggled until Richard finally did smile some.
