Thumbs up gnarly ;o)

I watched it, like religiously. I have them all on tape, and even though it wasn't as great as T7S, it was still quite a worthy show, IMO. I think all the ladies on T8S were MUCH more attractive than our gals, but that has more to do with the fact that the 70's were somewhat unflattering. LOL Yeah so in conclusion - I liked it...and I miss it like crazy. :-/

Arrow 80s......

I liked the 80s show. It was pretty good......70s is still the best to me though.

I watched it, and found it quite interesting. But as someone mentioned- it didn't stay true to the 1980's.

Plus their jokes weren't very witty, and revolved too much around the bad clothing aspects- other than something more with actual substance.

I watched it thought it was alright. In my opinon one season was not enough to get to involved would have been nice if they would have tried a second season so you could get to know the characters a little better!

Talking

That 80's Show was WEAK. I think that they saw that T7S was a huge hit & rushed to put out T8S....with not enough thought put into it. There was no humor. I did like the record store owner, she was a hoot...I also liked the sister and the spike haired girl - I did not like the bisexual girl - I mean how did she go from being a school chum to Dad's boss?..Stupid and NOT possible -
Sorry, I do not remember any of the names...
The main character - guy - was too wussy. And the dad was a wierdo....but the one I had the most trouble with was the Fez guy.....what was with him??????????
There was no cohesiveness to the cast - they were just thrown together -
T7s has a 'family' of characters with a history - that is part of what works so well.
Again, That 80's Show was WEAK!
which is sad because so many of us wanted to love it...and just couldn't.

Ugh, I can't say I miss it. I gave it a chance, tried to get into it, but it just didn't work in the end.

Unlike That 70s Show, it seemed like they tried way too hard. If they had kept the clothes, the slang and the whole 'feeling' of the 80s more or less in the background so to speak, maybe it could've worked.
