This show just gets better and better to me. The opener, with the young girl running in front of the car to her death, was heartbreaking.
Her mother crying in Nate's arms at the memorial service showed Federico that he has a lot to learn. He seems to have dropped his combative mode and is realizing it's in his best interest to learn what he can about grief from the Fisher brothers.
What's up with Kathy Bates (Batina) and Ruth shoplifting? It could be a dirty mind at play here, but I swear there are sexual overtones in their relationship.
Claire made the right decision in dumping the commitmentphobe. The previews hint at a thing with her art instructer. He's a hoot and a half. The opening scene with him was great.
Lisa's boss Carol finally flipped her lid. The cake in the bed was hilarious. I was surprised that Nate wasn't more understanding about Lisa quitting the nutjob. I wonder why they can't get their own place. I assume Nate makes a decent living, and Lisa can find another job.
I felt bad for Ruth when she steered clear of Maya. They've finally gotten around to having the baby napping and out of sight, thank you very much.
Nate pleasuring himself on the side of the road--not happy with Lisa? Brenda's on the horizon...in two weeks. I'm looking forward to that.
I enjoyed David and Keith in this episode. It was nice to see them happy for change even if a car fight broke out. Gotta love those car fights, lol. Nice also to hear David sing.
I loved the Rocket Man ending.
This show just takes me away....TV at its best for me.

Thanks Janice. It's Fun to read your comments. I'll make a plot prediction. When Brenda returns, she and Nate will be burning up the sheets or the back alleys or where ever they happen to be in moments of unbridaled lust, almost immediatly. Fine father that he seems to be, the ever maternal mom is not suiting his innermost drives.
