I live in Bloomington, IN, home of Indiana University. Tonight I was skimming through the channels and came across our local PBS station. And guess what!?!?!

Well, you can tell by the subject

Mollie Sugden was in town promoting the fund drive. She still looks great. The surviving cast of "Are You Being Served" did a celebration video of her 80th birthday last year. They showed the tape tonight, featuring highlights from the program. John Inman was the main host, plus it included Frank Thornton, Trevor Banister, Wendy _____ (I forget), and the man who played "Jug-Ears."

I guess you always assume the cast will look the same, but they are all starting to show their age. I taped a lot of it though... great stuff.

Mollie is touring the country for PBS, so be sure to keep checking for her!

Arrghh! I wish I would have known about that! I love "Are You Being Served?"! And "AYBS?Again!", and would have loved to have gone and seen her and tried to get an autograph. My Monster...er, Mother-in-law lives in Bloomington, IN. Do you think my wife would get suspicious if I suddenly said, "Hey honey, let's go visit your mother!"

Wow... everyone knows someone in Bloomington, IN I think.

If the time hadn't been so late (I think it was 8-10), I might have tried to go meet her. But, it probably wouldn't have worked. I did let my local PBS station know how appreciative I was of them bringing her to the station and such. I'm also really glad to have my tape.

Our PBS station, WEDU channel 3 in Tampa had ol"jug ears" himself....Nicholas Smith......He looks better with age. We saw the tape of Mollie Sugden when she came here also. "Mr Humphries", John Inman, has been here in Tampa as well....LOVED that show - AYBS!

I think Mollie is ultra sexy.
At least in the first 2 seasons.
