Question concerning the Title of the show I saw in the 1982 issue of TV Guide - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was reading the TV Guide from February of 1982 and I noticed the title of the show was called Happy Days Again, instead of Happy Days. At what point was it called Happy Days Again ? When did it stop being called Happy Days Again?

While Happy Days was still airing first run shows, Happy Days was starting to go into syndication and didn't want the viewers to get confused. So the syndicated episodes were retitled Happy Days Again. I hope I got that right.

Thank you-Is that the case with Laverne and Shrley also? I saw that Laverne and Shirley was called Laverne and Shirley and Comnpany.

Actually, L&S was called "Laverne DeFazio & Shirley Feeney" (their real names) in the 1st 2 seasons. I have the 1st 5 videos from columbia House of L&S-I wish they'd release Happy Days on video.

Laverne and Shirley while it still had new shows,in reruns they were called also "Laverne And Shirley And Company". After they went off of the air in night time,they went back to Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley in reruns.

Thanks BravesFan, i posted a seperate question for Laverne and Shirley on the L&S board. Thanks for answering the laverne and Shirley question. It also had L&S&C in the 1982 TV Guide.
