When a school does a play, like Little Shop of Horrors or something, do they have to apply for the rights? Also- where do you apply for the rights? Are the people that give you the rights to the play the people that provide you with the script, sheet music etc? I found a few sites, can't remember now, selling lots of play material. I can't find anything to do with the Clue Musical.

Yeah, you do need to buy the rights. I just had this explained to me a week ago b/c our school play tickets this year we're about 3 times the cost of normal. Since we are close to New York, and we were doing a Broadway play, we had to pay all these extra fees, etc.
