Default Ya'll Know Anybody Who Has Psorasis?

Ya'll know anybody who has this skin disorder? It's a skin disorder that just pops up on your body out of the clear blue. I've read up on it cause my friend has this. He said he has a lot of red sores on his body & he has sores on his penis that look like scabs. He told me his penis was bleeding yesterday & now that it's not bleeding, he said it hurts when he walked with the band aid off so he keeps the band aid on so it won't hurt. He said he peeled off one of his scabs on his penis, that's why it was bleeding. He also told me a lot of women don't wanna be bothered with him cause of this. He said they're scared that they're gonna catch a disease from him. He's told some women that it isn't a disease, it's just a skin disorder. I read that mostly white males get it, hardly any black males get it. He said he just noticed this 2 yrs ago. He said he uses lotion & body oil to make it go away but from what the doctor told him, it doesn't go away. It disappears for a little while & then it reappears. I feel bad for him that this keeps the females away from him but what can he do? I don't know how psorasis appears on your body out of the clear blue. It's messed up though when females don't wanna deal with u cause of it cause i would hate for him to be alone the rest of his life cause of this messed up skin disorder. Every man wants a woman in their life unless you're weird or gay.

This guy I work with was recently diagnosed with it. He has red spots on his chin and he just thought that it was from shaving but when he went to the doctor they told him it was Psoriasis. It is not contageous so people shouldn't worry that they will catch it from someone else.

This white boy i used to go to school with back in 7th or 8th grade had red spots all over his face. I mean they were big red spots. I was like ughhhhhhhh. I didn't even wanna be close to him cause it was so nasty looking at his face. He would always be talking to me & i had to back up from him when he was talking to me. I don't know what skin disorder he had but he might've had psorasis. There's this black girl i know who has spots on her body too but they're not red spots like my friend. She has some type of skin disorder, i forgot what she said it was & she told me it was contagious.

Now wait a minute here! Didn't you post a similar thread a couple of weeks ago pertaining to Herpes and scabs on the penis? This isn't some kind of "Rainman -like" syndrome is it? I really hope not! If these questions are legit ask a doctor
Really, I don't mean to be judgemental here but we have just gone through this kind of crap with Nate. You are not just trying to be "cute" are you?

That was my reaction to his post also. It sounds like a load of turds to me. But I didn't want to be the heavy this time. If I was to hire out a heavy though, you would have been my choice Marlene. Good job.

I was going to say the same thing (re: the last 2 posts) and I remember the "herpes" posts. You...er, your friend.... should call a doctor.

I had psoriasis on my scalp as a young child and had to have my hair cut short but other than that it wasn't anything serious or debilitating.

The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

i had it mildly on my scalp when i was younger too- only because my hair was so thick that it wouldnt have helped at all to cut it short, i had this special shampoo/conditioner gel that helped it. It wasnt bad and it went away pretty quickly
