In this episode, who told the best story of how Mama got hit with the pot? Eunice, Ellen, or Naomi and why?

I love this episode. I hadn't seen it in a while, and when it first came on, I was trying to think, "Now, who tells the most convincing story?" Once the episode was over I realized they were all so fabricated no one could have been close!
I voted for Eunice for the best told story. Hers was probably the most exagerrated too which is partly why I voted for it. Hey, we all now how Eunice can be! When she popped in the kitchen and said, "Hey everyone! Isn't it just a wonderful, warm, sunny, HAP-HAP-HAPPY DAY!" I about fell on the floor! She was a riot. And how about how she puckered her mouth and said "Oh mama, I think it needs sugar." Ellen with her crown was hysterical too! It was funny how Eunice depicted Naomi as a floozy and Ellen depicted her as an air-head. Ellen's whole story was great too expecially when she had Mama as this senile. Heck, the whole episode was great! You just don't get this same entertainment when you watch the syndication version--at least I don't. |

Yeah, I also think that Eunice's was the most outrageous tellin'.
However, I like to think that Eunice and Ellen were the ones who hit Mama with the pot.

I'm bumping this thread up, since it was shown today. This episode has to be one of my favorite episodes!! (at least from the NBC years)

I liked Eunice's. It was so unlike her. And it was nice to see Mama like EUNICE for a change, than always brag about how much she likes Ellen more.

I LOVED Eunice's version. She made Ellen sound so evil! And did you notice how she ACTUALLY looked evil?
She looked like she wanted to kill Eunice! ![]() The one priceless scene you can't go wrong with is when Mama gets hit in the face in all three versions and she goes cross-eyed and says "What the-- What the--" and then falls down. OMG, that one gets to me every time.
