Question Your Top 10 Favorite 70's Songs?

So many for me, but I actually managed to nail em down to 10: (in no order)

Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)- Looking Glass

Hello It's Me- Todd Rundgren

Rikki Don't Lose That Number- Steely Dan

Summer Breeze- Seals & Crofts

Listen To The Music- Doobie Bros. (such a great feel good song!)

I'm Not In Love- 10cc

Living For The City- Stevie Wonder

Baker Street- Gerry Rafferty (that unforgettable sax. Takes me right back to '78)

Rock The Boat- Hues Corp. (another great feel good song)

Jive Talkin'- Bee Gees (undeniable hook!)

Honorable Mention

I Can See Clearly- Johnny Nash
You're No Good- Linda Ronstadt
I Got A Name- Jim Croce
Things We Do For Love- 10cc
Reelin' In The Years- Steely Dan
Diamond Girl- Seals & Crofts
Jackie Blue- Ozark Moutain Daredevils

*This* list could get really long!~

(yeah, I'll be doing a top 10 fave 60s & 80s thread too- I just gotta think of what *mine* are 1st!)

Great choices! But "Forever Man" is 1985.

I like some 70's songs, but my two fave's are prolly "Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks ( i think that's 70's) and "Band on the Run" by Paul McCartney.

I like "Barracuda" by Heart, too.

OH and was "Iron Man" from the 70's?? If so, then that is another favorite.

Yeah, "Seasons" is from the '70s ('74). I don't know about "Iron."

Really? Guess I should've known that. I'll replace that one with "There Goes Another Love Song" by the Outlaws. (I just checked, and it IS a 70's song. )

Iron Man as in the Black Sabbath song? Yeah, I think it's from the 70's... check with Captain Ablairica though. He's the expert.
