I just got the DVDs of The Young Ones. I hadn't seen the show for several years, and I'd forgotten just how funny it really was. And how disgusting it was! This was a crass show, but I think The Young Ones prove that you can be crass and clever at the same time. Great stuff--

Definetly a comedy of its time. Love Bottom, the follow up with Ade and Richie and have seen the stage show. Love them all, especially Neil the hippie. Strangely the cast thought it was a pile of poo when they made it but the fans disagree! Certainly not classic Britcom but funny and outrageous and ground breaking for its time
